HUMAN HABITAT 2010 Lecture Series is an open platform on the theme of Sustainable Cities, engaging a wide audience that includes specialists and lay people.

The ten highly renowned invited speakers will present their powerful and holistic visions on sustainable urban development, including the dimensions of social equity, economic prosperity and environmental balance and longevity. Questioning those current cultural values and economical growth patterns, which are, in many ways, conditioning our present and future well-being, the speakers will present their views on the way forward, towards more sustainable and better performing cities.

The speakers’ views on Sustainable Cities will be amply discussed with the audience.

Lectures are open to the general public, are free of charge and will take place in Parque das Nações, Lisbon.

Registration is individual, compulsory and the official reply confirmation from the organizers will validate access. Seats are limited, so we therefore encourage early registration.
